Observations have been made concerning the effect of a single dose thyroxin at level 4 mg. per kg. body weight on changes in liver protein and nucleic acids definite intervals C-57 strain mice. 2. Except for marked drop RNA 6 hours after administration, mobilisation take place during period active metabolism (18–120 administration). Some clear DNA also observed metabolism. 3. There appears to be no quantitative correlation between loss carcass protein, 96 administration thyroxin. 4. The significance has presented without prejudice or postulate.
