摘要: The restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a common movement disorder, characterized by an almost irresistible urge to move the in evening or at rest. According recent estimates, it affects ~5–15% of adults and often has substantial impact on sleep, daily activities, quality life. Although genetic susceptibility been shown play important role pathogenesis RLS, there evidence supporting possible environmental causes RLS. In this review, we focus obesity dietary factors, including iron, B vitamins, vitamin E, C, magnesium, as these factors are modifiable. Both clinical epidemiology studies suggest that could be risk for However, previous limited small sample sizes retrospective cross-sectional designs preclude conclusions regarding causality. Therefore, further prospective examining relation between obesity, diet, developing RLS should priority.
