摘要: Past studies showing that barriers to farmers’ adaptation behaviors are focused on their socio-economic factors and resource availability. Meanwhile, psychological social considerations sparingly mentioned, especially for the related in developing countries. This study investigates impact of appraisal behavioral intention adopt measures aforementioned reason, due climate change not anthropogenic change. Drawing protection motivation theory, a threat, coping, appraisal, maladaptation (TCSMBI) model was proposed predict adaptation. A structural equation then employed analyze relationships between variables TCSMBI with 658 apple farmers Shaanxi province, China. The empirical results showed threat coping have positive significant impacts Moreover, reduces occurrence maladaptation, tends significantly appraisal.
