摘要: Myocardial performance in the intact human heart can be assessed from analysis of ejection phase indices. Accordingly, among 20 consecutive patients who were studied by means biplane left ventricular cineangio-cardiography, 18 selected solely on basis high quality angiograms. The characteristics contraction expressed quantitatively systolic fraction, mean velocity circumferential fiber shortening at ventriculalr equator, and several chords, hemichords normalized rate. All had abnormalities based hemichords. Both fraction rate showed a low sensitivity detecting depressed myocardial function with segmental asynergy. Equatorial V(CF) provided additional information only when affected areas adjacent to minor axis. this index was markedly increased construction chords perpendicular long axis (segmental V(CF)). However, one wall affected, measurement better definition regional performance.
