摘要: Abstract The extraction of a series aminopyridines (APs) utilizing chitosan hydrogels in hexane was investigated. hydrogel prepared using glutaraldehyde as cross-linking agent. Experiments were carried out to determine the maximum efficiency, distribution coefficient, sorption capacity, and adsorption desorption mechanisms. efficiency attained value ca. 100% with coefficients for transfer from increasing order ortho - meta para -AP. Langmuir model described equilibrium data quite well, yielding capacities 11.37 mg (o-AP), 21.03 (m-AP), 29.33 (p-AP) per gram hydrogel. Methanol found be effective subsequent recovery APs CHG, allowing recycling CHG sorbents. results demonstrate that can employed organic species solvents which should serve expand scope applications such materials.
