摘要: The second stage of next-generation passive optical network (NG-PON2) based on time and wavelength division multiplexed (TWDM-PON) was proposed by a telecommunication group research to enhance the performance broadband access networks. TWDM-PON selected as best candidate for NG-PON2 solution because its ability support requirements, such enhanced bandwidth capacity, 40Gb/s, coexistence with previously existing generations without any change distribution (ODN). This paper reviewed recent progress carried out system configuration, emphasis tunable transmitter receiver unit (ONU) in terms amount tuning range reported exploiting plan provided cost efficiency. speed data rate transmitted downstream upstream links between line terminal (OLT) ONU way stacking approach is reviewed. In addition, power budget determine number users allocated each transmission allowed.
