摘要: Study objective To determine associations and differences in sleep-wake patterns among children their parents to explore the correlates for adults. Design A school-based cross-sectional survey. Participants Sample included 1479 fourth eighth graders parents, using a multistage sampling method. Interventions N/A. Measurements results Students completed Sleep Habit Questionnaire, which sleep schedules, mood scale, morningness/eveningness scale. Statistical methods Pearson Spearman correlations analysis of variance mixed model. Results showed low schedules between those who did not work shifts or have an evening night job. Compared children, tended go bed rise later, shorter nighttime duration, less weekend compensation sleep, morning-type profile. In addition, junior-high students (seventh eight graders) demonstrated different compared elementary-school (fourth sixth graders). Young age, moodiness, shift were associated with tendencies be type parent participants. Conclusions Our findings indicate that social demands (school adolescents employment adults), status are patterns. Future study examining association evening-sleep neurotic traits psychopathology adult population will our next step.
