摘要: Based on instrumental monitoring (AOT40s) and phytodetection (with Bel-W3 KK6/5 tobacco cultivars) data we evaluated ambient ozone phytotoxicity in Greece. In the greater region of Mesogia-Attica, during summer 2000, year before new airport Eleftherios Venizelos (March 2001) began operating this region, AOT40s (ppb*h) were 16,325 over 110 days at Spata; 18,646 113 Markopoulo; 8,093 22 Artemis 16,679 121 Athens. The Bel- W3 plants extensively injured all places with greatest injury occurring Artemis. During same summer, was also monitored three rural areas Corinth, Astronomical Observatory Krionerion, Bogdani Hill Kiato; highest average daily AOT40 (192 ppb*h) observed Krionerio, it almost equal to that occurred Athens (193 ppb*h). placed 11 Corinth showed extended injury. following (2001), high other sets bioindicator exposed a network 28 locations throughout area Volos Pelion Mountain. Symptoms more severe Mortias, Xinovrisi, Tsagarada, Makrinitsa Chania. (May-July) 11,391 10,351 ppb*hours for 2001 2002 respectively. Severe ozone-like symptoms have been field-cultivated grape vines, onion watermelon plants. Synoptically, our investigations suggest occurs Greek mainland levels are potentially phytotoxic sensitive crop species natural vegetation including forest trees.
