摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate the seed germination response different plant families L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA), one strongest allelochemicals in nature. Three types responses terms colouration changes on filter paper were obtained; black and gray (Gramineae Compositae), no change (Leguminosae, Brassicaceae, Cucurbitaceae) an obstructed-circle around seeds with outer side circle (Hydrophyllaceae) when L-DOPA solution applied during germination. Radicle growth Gramineae Leguminosae inhibited less by a single treatment (250 μg/ml) than other families. However, continuous demonstrated that family affected inhibition radicle family. When more added observed all plants tested. EC50 for bluebell (Hydrophyllaceae), white clover (Leguminosae), lettuce (Compositae) approximately 200, 100, 50 μg/ml, respectively. perennial ryegrass (Gramineae) even at 250 μg/ml L-DOPA. In family, addition into increased paper. These results each functions oxidize or dissolve Gramineae, Leguminosae, Compositae, Hydrophyllaceae, increasing number imbibed rate disappearance from petri-dish. Of Grammaceous tested, only ryegrass, which showed fairly weak allelopathic activity, metabolised dopamine. Although relationships between these experiments are still unknown, there appears be strong species protect cell damage.
