摘要: Little research has focused on the relationship between religion and climate change attitudes behavior. Further, while there have been some studies examining environmental religion, most are Christian denominations secularism, few examined other religions such as Buddhism. Using an online survey of 1,927 Australians we links membership four religious groupings (Buddhists, literalists non-literalists, Secularists) behaviors. Differences were found across groups in terms their belief in: (a) human induced change, (b) level consensus among scientists, (c) own efficacy, (d) need for policy responses. We show, using ordinal regression, that explains these differences even after taking into account socio-demographic factors, knowledge attitude, including man’s dominion over nature. attitude behavior suggest importance engaging to encourage members.
