摘要: The effects of nimodipine, a calcium antagonist with preferential cerebrovascular activity, on the global and regional cerebral blood flow (CBF rCBF), intracranial pressure (ICP), perfusion (CPP), were investigated in an acute study. rCBF 54 patients was measured by Xe133 inhalation method under identical conditions before 60 min after oral administration nimodipine. 12 focal circulation disturbances arteriosclerotic origin, who had suffered accident (TIA, PRIND, minor stroke) no more than 3 weeks previously, given placebo (test-retest controls) 25 same diagnosis age group 40-80 mg nimodipine orally. 11 subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) from ruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysms clinical angiographic signs vasospasm (Hunt- Hess grade 3) likewise treated route. 6 received i.v. doses 0.5-2 mg/h. flow, assessed basis initial slope index (ISI), medication, compared statistical methods. head injury intravenously dose continuous monitoring ICP pressure. values evaluated continuously computer, calculation pressure, tested for significance. Oral therapy resulted significant (14%) increased CBF (taking account arterial pCO2), improvement being even pronounced hypoperfused regions.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
