Computer enhanced digital angiography

摘要: Summary: A new computer image enhancement technique was employed on cardiac images of 10 dogs and 7 patients to demonstrate the feasibility an on-line automatic delineation left ventricular endocardial silhouette with a peripheral venous injection contrast material while simultaneously reducing x-ray dosage. This employs very fast analog-to-digital conversion system capable digitizing video frames. By storing continuously updating first 30 frames then subtracting each incoming frame from this memory, most background is eliminated leaving only filled ventricle. Using calibrated densitometric measurements, we found that iodine concentrations in human ventricle following 40 ml Renografinm-76 (25 ml/s), peaked at 4.3f0.3 mg/ml (meanfSD) compared 14.8f0.8 direct 13 ml/s (p
