摘要: Summary: A new computer image enhancement technique was employed on cardiac images of 10 dogs and 7 patients to demonstrate the feasibility an on-line automatic delineation left ventricular endocardial silhouette with a peripheral venous injection contrast material while simultaneously reducing x-ray dosage. This employs very fast analog-to-digital conversion system capable digitizing video frames. By storing continuously updating first 30 frames then subtracting each incoming frame from this memory, most background is eliminated leaving only filled ventricle.
