摘要: Behavioral and dietary prescriptions proscriptions observed by 40 ethnic Vietnamese Vietnamese‐Chinese women during pregnancy are explored within the context of traditional medicine its humoral classification physiological states foodstuffs. The medical, nutritional psychosocial effects continued observance these customs in Australia discussed. restrictions appear to be important cultural elements preparation for motherhood.
