摘要: Hydrostatic models of sunspot penumbra and umbra are evaluated using Bode's tables monochromatic absorption coefficients andT-τ-relations given by Makita Morimoto (1960) Zwaan (1965). These placed side to simulate a complete corresponding an area 480×10−6 hemisphere. Intensity profiles for aspect angles up 85° compared observations. The primary aim was study the influence spot transparency, which is closely related gas-pressure, on Wilson-effect other changes in intensity profile that appear close solar limb. gas-pressures at zero-level geometrical depth (z=0) optical depth, τ=10−3, both umbra,P 0 u , penumbra,P p as adjustable parameters.
