摘要: As the kernels of fractional Fourier Transform (FrFT) are in theform chirp signals, this transform would be useful forprocessing and describing linear chirps. In paper FrFT isused as an alternative for pulse compression received echosignals coded excitation ultrasound imaging. Using field ${\rmI}{\rm I}$ program, axial resolution match filter FrFT, astwo methods compression, compared. Simulation resultsshow that applying with synthetic transmit aperture lead toabout 15dB improvement discrimination ability two closereflectors various depth central frequency excitationsignals. It is worthwhile noting that, addition to thisimprovement, no computational complexity imposed pulsecompression. Wigner-Ville distribution, it shown theproposed method more robust than against thefrequency dependent attenuation medium.
