摘要: Twelve spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars were planted in 16 trials which received seasonal rainfall (including irrigation) ranging from 230 to 755 mm year-l. Under low conditions, drought stress occurred during the period of stem elongation when ears grew. Grain filling was largely free stress. Variation precipitation explained 75% variation mean yield among trials, and main component responsible for reduction at ear number, as affected by tiller survival rate. The larger-yielding sustained a higher kernel number per compensation reduced under stability defined both joint linear regression method on precipitation, gave very similar predictions. magnitude intercept latter taken indicator resistance terms yield. variations this well corresponding osmotic adjustment, heat tolerance canopy temperature. reserve mobilization not important respect, evidently because grain subjected these trials. Early-heading had relative advantage only less than about 300 350 g m-2. Both early heading positively correlated with adjustment across cultivars. It therefore concluded that physiological attribute associated conditions growth capacity apparently allowed
