摘要: Abstract Fusion DEMO plant design at JAERI directs toward compactness and economy of the reactor with a fusion output 3 GW level. The smaller size center solenoid (CS) has large impact on reducing weight. Three candidates for CS, namely “-less”, “slim” “full” are considered according to role CS coil that is plasma ramp up shaping. From points views technical feasibility, obtained triangularity (δx) weight reactor, slim-CS selected as candidate JAERI. For slim-CS, high δx (≥0.43), which enough suppress giant ELMs, obtained, highly radiative outer divertor required in steady state power handling. consistent equilibrium was found satisfy requirements radial build. During current phase, acceleration voltage neutral beam injection (NBI) be changed more than two times. In order inject sufficient during low-energy injection, present technology must replaced by new constant-current, variable-voltage technology.
