摘要: The steady two-dimensional stagnation-point flow, represented by Sisko fluid constitutive model, over a stretching sheet is investigated theoretically. Using suitable similarity transformations, the governing boundary-layer equations are transformed into self-similar non-linear ordinary differential equation. equation then solved using very efficient analytic technique namely homotopy analysis method (HAM) and HAM solutions validated exact obtain in certain special cases. influence of power-law index (n), material parameter (A) velocity ratio (d/c) on flow characteristics studied presented through several graphs. In addition, local skin friction coefficient for values these parameters tabulated examined. both Newtonian fluids as cases analysis. results obtained reveal that, comparison with fluids, profiles much faster (slower), d/c 1), respectively.
