摘要: Acute diseases and chronic conditions might be associated with altered blood neutrophil functions. The aim of this study was to investigate teh effects stable obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) superimposed acute bacterial bronchopneumonia (ABP) on the phagocytosis oxidative metabolism phagocytes. 129 participants were assigned 6 groups: group 1, healthy controls; 2, previously controls ABP; 3, patients COPD inhaled corticosteroids (IC); 4, individuals IC 5, requiring oral (OC); 6, OC ABP. Phagocytosis burst measured. Both tests showed a significant difference between groups without infection when compared No differences observed ABP (groups 3 5) 1. number phagocytized E. coli/cell 9.1 +/- 0.37, 7.9 0.27 8 .2 0.28 respectively) reversed changes. We conclude, that is an impairment in blood. suggest, has no influence burst.
