摘要: A comparison of the penetration and mixing characteristics three transverse/oblique injector configurations is presented. The geometries studied include circular transverse, oblique, elliptical transverse injectors, crossflow at Mach 2. Planar Mie scattering images near-field flow planes produced substantial information about flowfield created by each injector. In addition to global characteristics, provided lateral penetrations for Instantaneous time-averaged concerning structural organization flowfields was obtained. Results demonstrate increasing jet in direction with jet-to-freestream momentum flux ratio. Penetration oblique appreciably less compared two jets due reduced component direction. elliptic appears spread more quickly than other jets, suggesting that some type axis-switchin g phenomenon occurs. Large-scale structures interface between freestream fluids are shown transversely oriented while small-scale eddies prominent flowfield. Near-field dominated these counter-rotating develop streamwise
