Arterial hypertension and noise: A cross-sectional study

摘要: The occurrence of permanent arterial hypertension was studied among the workers a textile plant (490 subjects) exposed to high frequency noise, at levels often exceeding 100 dBA. prevalence disease these compared that observed in reference series (450 subjects). A rate ratio equal 1.34 (1.14-1.57) estimated, taking into account several determinants acting as confounding factors study. results, which are good agreement with those obtained similar studies, discussed.
