摘要: Polyurethane/organophilic montmorillonite (PU/OMT) nanocomposites based on polyether, organophilic montmorillonite, phenylmethane diisocyante, diglycol, and glycerine were synthesized characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD). Delaminated or intercalated structures in polyurethane/OMT with different OMT content found. The mechanical, thermal, inflammability properties of PU/OMT investigated through tensile, thermogravimetry, differential scanning calorimetry, cone calorimetry experiments. It is shown that have enhanced tensile strength, improved thermal stability, flame retardant relative to bulk polyurethane. strength 4.7 wt% was double compared PU. increased increasing content.
