摘要: A rise in population, along with urbanization, has been causing an increase demand for urban transportation services the sub-Saharan Africa countries. In these countries, mobility of people is mainly ensured by bus and a large-scale informal public transport service, which known as paratransit (e.g., car rapides Senegal, Tro Tros Ghana, taxis Uganda Ethiopia, Matatus Kenya). Transport estimation challenging task, particularly developing due to its expensive time-consuming data collection requirements. Without accurate estimation, it difficult operators provide their make other important decisions. this paper, we present methodology estimate passenger using cell phone data. Significant origins destinations inhabitants are extracted used build origin–destination matrices that resemble travel demand. Based on inferred demand, able reasonably suggest strategic locations such taxi stands, well new transit routes. The outcome study can be useful development policies potentially help fulfill needs city inhabitants.
