摘要: The optimal treatment of early-stage ovarian borderline tumors is controversial. Only a few randomized trials evaluating adjuvant for this disease have been published. Between 1970 and 1988 four consecutive trials, including patients with tumors, were conducted at the Norwegian Radium Hospital. After surgery, 253 stage I-II without residual randomly allocated to these protocols. in consisted [1] external irradiation (Ext) combined intraperitoneal instillation radioactive gold (198Au) or Ext alone, [2] therapy followed by thio-TEPA no further treatment, [3] therapy, [4] cisplatin 32P treatment. equally distributed according prognostic variables within eight randomization groups. overall corrected crude survival 99 94%, respectively. In 83% hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, omentectomy was performed. None less extensive surgery relapsed. Adjuvant did not seem improve survival. On contrary, toxicity added small bowel complications after radiation neurotoxicity bone marrow therapy. It concluded that I should receive any
