摘要: We examined several previously proposed models of the process by which large intraplate earthquakes are generated, and found most plausible to be ‘localized shear model,’ in seismogenic faults have downward extensions lower crust localized deformation on accumulate stress faults. Further, may accelerate before a earthquake occurs. This model can explain various phenomena related crustal Japanese Islands: preslips, seismicity, distribution active faults, strain state. It will play an important role forecasting prediction earthquakes.
