摘要: Abstract In this paper, the efficiency of micellar enhanced ultrafiltration technique (MEUF) was tested for removal yttrium and zinc ions from synthetic industrial liquid wastes. UF membranes (monotubular ceramic 210 kDa 1 kDa molecular weight cut-off) were used with adding an anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). A two - level full factorial design performed in order to evaluate effect cut-off, concentration pressure on permeate flux rejection yields. It found that single factors presented largest influence flux: membrane pore size had positive effect, instead SDS negative effect. Regarding metal yields main relevant a followed by surfactant The seemed be almost negligible, experiments interactions size. results showed very good percentages up 99% achieved both metals under following conditions: MWCO, presence at above CMC independently investigated pressure.
