摘要: Abstract The absorption spectrum of naphthalene vapour has been photoelectrically recorded within the photon energy range from 5 to 30 eV using synchrotron radiation. In addition known π-π * bands at lower energies Rydberg series first and higher ionization limits are found tentatively assigned. They partially overlap superimposed broader which seem be valence shell transitions originating π or σ orbitals. orbital nature excited states is discussed tentative assignments given.
