摘要: Background : It is widely agreed upon that gender a key aspect of sexuality however, questions remain on how exactly influences adolescents’ sexual health. Objective The aim this research was to study correlations between equality attitudes and behavior, experiences communication about sex among sexually active non-sexually adolescents in 2 Latin American countries. Design In 2011, cross-sectional carried out 5,913 aged 14–18 20 secondary schools Cochabamba (Bolivia) 6 Cuenca (Ecuador). Models were built using logistic regressions assess the predictive value toward communication. Results analysis shows who consider as important report higher current use contraceptives within couple. They are more likely describe their last intercourse positive experience it easier talk with partner than experienced less positively inclined equality. These remained consistent whether respondent boy or girl.
