Facet joint injection for low back pain. A clinical study.

摘要: Therapeutic injection of facet joints is now widely practised, but British experience has been infrequently reported. We studied the results injecting with a corticosteroid preparation in 50 patients suffering from "facet syndrome". Our series included number extra-articular injections and these "failed injections" provide useful control group. Results indicate that only intra-articular are effective; certainty joint penetration can be ensured by routine use arthrography.
