People’s behavioral intentions towards public transport in Lahore: Role of situational constraints, mobility restrictions and incentives

摘要: This paper aims to identify the relationships between people’s attitudes on service quality attributes of private car and public transport, intentions use transport under situational constraints, mobility restrictions use, incentives moral obligation. A questionnaire survey was conducted in Lahore 354 usable samples obtained. Results revealed that vary different situations restrictions. The fiscal policy entry restriction have significant influence changing intentions. Modeling results social/aesthetic, personal instrumental attitudinal aspects are underlying factors determining towards stated conditions. It is argued social/aesthetic dimensions should equal importance making improvements along with dimensions. study implicates improvement need integrate for effective change travel behavior. findings this would be helpful concerned authorities considering appropriate improvement, other related measures make promotion from transport.
