摘要: Abstract Bismuth Barium titanate glass-ceramics with composition (100-x)Bi2O3-xBaTiO3 synthesized via controlled crystallization have been explored for their structural and optical properties. X-Ray Diffraction data clearly confirmed the presence of crystalline phases in prepared orthorhombic Ba2Ti13O22 phase being leading stable one. Additionally, commencement hexagonal BaTiO3 has found higher compositions above x ≥ 20 increase content. FTIR Raman spectroscopy revealed conversion Non-bridging oxygen atoms (NBO's) to Bridging (BO's) takes place when content increases sample thus resulting compactness network. UV-Visible performed calculate band gap energies (Eg). An energy same also using Urbach approach. The lower values propose creation (BO's), decrease disorder hence support stability system. electronegativity electronic polarizability reveal covalent character glass-ceramic samples.
