Quantitation of Plasma Aldosterone by Radioimmunoassay

摘要: Aldosterone antibodies were produced by injecting sheep with the albumin conjugate of aldosterone-18,21-dihemisuccinate. Conditions optimal for an accurate, reproducible assay this antiserum determined experimentally. is extracted from plasma and isolated a single thin-layer chromatographic system before immunoassay performed. Normal aldosterone in supine subjects 8.6 ± 3.8 ng/100 ml; after 2 h upright position, 18.3 9.5 ml. Eighteen months experience method have proved it to be reliable respect reproducibility, accuracy, precision.
