摘要: Apatite fission-track (AFT) analyses were performed on 16 sandstone samples from a tectonic melange unit exposed in three windows located near the inferred front of early Miocene subduction system Northern Apennines Italy. The display block-on-block present under Ligurian Units. is formed by portions upper plate incorporated boundary shear zone as consequence mechanism frontal erosion during Aquitanian (early Miocene). AFT and structural data, together with stratigraphic constraints, allow reconstruction complete deformation cycle phase underthrusting followed underplating exhumation melange. exhumation, particular, took place at ∼10–20 km original front. Moreover, analysis suggests that multiple faults active same time part zone.
