摘要: Using panel data for provinces compiled from household expenditure microdata, the present paper empirically investigates relationships among growth, poverty and inequality in Thailand Philippines. The empirical model avoids potential bias due to fact that entire distribution of individual-level consumption changes over time variables are often distribution. system generalized method moments estimation results strongly suggest reduced growth rate per-capita consumption, differences explain a substantial portion Philippine–Thai difference reduction since late 1980s.
