The Evolving Psychoanalytic Vision of Boyhood(s) and Masculinity(ies)

摘要: Over the course of past century, dominant psychoanalytic paradigm for understanding boyhood and male gender identity development has been grounded in two complementary visions: Freud's original formulations and, later, propositions Ralph Greenson Robert Stoller. Each those visions, history suggests, contain a certain harshness, rigidity, fixity about roles can even be seen as supporting an unhealthy bifurcation between female.
