摘要: The electronic ground and excited states of the coordinatively unsaturated complex Ni(η1-N2)2, isolated in an Ar matrix, are analyzed detail by vibrational absorption emission spectroscopies allied with quantum chemical calculations. bond force constants determined from a normal coordinate analysis compared those isoelectronic carbonyl complex. consequences for properties discussed, trend is standard formation enthalpies. linear Ni(η1-N2)2 two terminal dinitrogen ligands can be photoisomerized to isomeric, metastable forms Ni(η1-N2)(η2-N2) Ni(η2-N2)2, one side-on coordinated ligands, respectively.
