摘要: References to historical aspects of tobacco research and the ensuing recommendations for prevention tobacco-associated diseases can only be found rudimentarily in newer studies. This article systematically reviews literature on subject, with special attention given selected journals published between 1850 1950. The analysis offers a chronological summary knowledge about ingredients their effects, tobacco-attributed as well usually non-institutionalized prevention. report clearly shows early toxic effects its products, causation ophthalmologic cardiovascular system, respiratory nervous systems reproduction system. pathogenesis tobacco-attributable mental disorders, addiction cancer is also reported. From today's view, some former strategies are regarded obsolete; seem very topical. In summary, concentrating characteristics witness continuity spanning different epochs political systems.
