摘要: Indian Laburnum (Cassia fistula L.) bark, stem, leaf and root under different age classes namely Class A (2-3 years), B (5-10 years) C (10-15 were analyzed for their total phenolic content (TPC), tannin (TTC) antioxidant activity (AA). Both (TPC) determined using Folin-Ciocalteau assays (AA) was carried out by Free Radical 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay. From the study, higher TPC, TTC AA observed in Cassia bark extracts compare to otherportion (stem, root). Bark from three classes, showed means of 16.67 % TPC 3.12% TTC. In addition, also high with mean IC50 values 0.04g/ml.
