摘要: We analyze the geometrical aspects of x-ray absorption spectroscopy as a function directions light polarization and magnetization with respect to crystalline axes material. Relations are derived for angular dependence ground-state magnetic moments polarized core edge signals in presence second-order perturbation by an arbitrary interaction. Using methods algebra tensor operators can be written sum over different bipolar spherical harmonics. The example spin-orbit interaction transition metals is worked out detail. show importance magnetocrystalline anisotropy describe method measure directly anisotropy. A special choice geometry, such transverse field, combination rules dichroism makes it possible separate which cannot distinguished collinear geometry. also that lattice give strong variations observed spin orbital moment ratio, previously might have been ascribed limitations application rules.
