摘要: Aims: To investigate the role of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) structure in stability outer membrane and ability biofilm formation Cronobacter sakazakii. Methods Results: A C. sakazakii mutant strain LWW02 was constructed by inactivating gene ESA_04107 encoding for heptosyltransferase I. LPS were purified from LWW02, changes their confirmed thin-layer chromatography electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. Comparing with wild-type BAA-894, slower growth, higher permeability, surface hydrophobicity, stronger autoaggregation observed LWW02. Conclusions: The encodes I ATCC BAA-894. cleavage could cause its defects increase to form biofilms. Significance Impact Study: study is important understanding pathogenic mechanism efficient control C. sakazakii.
