摘要: A diffuse interface model is used to simulate a step-shear experiment of binary immiscible polymer blend. The gradient theory in modeling makes it possible incorporate interfacial tension and governs the process coalescence breakup without any additional decision criteria. tensor q, direct outcome model, relate microstructural information first-normal stress difference N1. results obtained are qualitative agreement with experiments reported literature.
