摘要: Metropolitan optical networks can be designed to transport a multitude of signals with different bit rates and modulations formats. In this way, in-band crosstalk signals, originated from imperfect isolation inside ROADM (Reconfigurable Optical Add Drop Multiplexer)-based nodes, will potentially have modulation format than the primary signal. paper, origin in typical is analysed its impact on differential quadrature phase-shift keying (DQPSK) assessed through an analytical formalism based moment generating function (MGF) receiver decision variable. Various scenarios are including case multiple interfering terms formats, namely on-off (OOK). It concluded that OOK interferer more detrimental DQPSK for systems, or (DPSK) DPSK systems.
