摘要: Aim This paper compares and contrasts clinical governance organizational learning. Background Clinical represents one of the most significant policy developments in recent years. It places on all health care delivery organizations a statutory duty to develop systems, standards processes necessary improve quality manage risk. At same time, many are seeking new ways which learning can be retained deployed more widely within organization (organizational learning). Key issues Both approaches emphasize cultural changes as essential underpinnings improvement. However, two also differ fundamentally their logic action. is essentially ‘top down’, being built around formal standards, established procedures, regular monitoring reporting. In contrast, emphasizes ‘bottom up’ values, beliefs motivations such way that change prioritized. The challenge for managers practitioners lies creative tension between these contrasting styles change.
