摘要: This paper presents a tractable mathematical framework to analyze the spectral and energy efficiency of an operator initiated deployment small-cells (e.g.,?femtocells) where small-cell base stations are deliberately positioned around edge macrocell. The considered facilitates cell-edge mobile users in terms their coverage, spectral, is referred as cell-on-edge (COE) configuration. reduction consumption achieved by considering fast power control transmit with adaptive compensate path loss, shadowing fading. In particular, we develop moment generating function (MGF) based approach derive analytical bounds on area exact expressions for COE configuration over generalized- K fading channels. Simulation results presented demonstrate improvements respect macro-only networks other unplanned strategies.
