Genetics of resistance to stem rust against Indian races in wheat varieties, Kundan and UP 2338

摘要: The parents, F1 and F2 individuals of the crosses Kundan x Agra Local, UP 2338 Local were screened to study genetics resistance in Ug99-resistant varieties wheat, against two Indian stem rust pathotypes 40A (62G29) 122 (7G11). Against race (62G29), variety did not have any alleles, whereas, exhibited presence dominant gene. 195 cross × segregated at a ratio 3(R):1(S). pathotype (7G11), displayed monogenic resistance. also reaction generation with no segregation indicating common gene both parents (Kundan 2338) conferring 122.
