摘要: Endophytic bacteria from roots (12 isolates) and nodules (76 of chickpea legume grown under CCS Haryana Agricultural University farm were isolated. Among the endophytic bacteria, 50% 93.4% Gram positive spore formers. Large number endophytes solubilized phosphate produced ammonia. Isolate CRE3, CNE215, most efficient P solubilizers and. CRE12 CNE76 being ammonia producer. Interestingly, few organic acid. Further selected 62 isolates used to determine molecular diversity by RFLP PCR amplified 16S rDNA. Endophytes formed five separate clusters nodule 13 clusters. CNE215 CRE1 possessed multiple beneficial traits belonged two different These identified after amplification sequencing rRNA gene. showed more than 98% similarity with partial sequence gene Bacillus subtilis, whereas licheniformis. Efficacy these strains was evaluated field conditions an increase up 22.5% in grain yield over uninoculated control observed B. subtilis strain all recommended biofertilizers able record upto 14.4%.
