摘要: The objective of the present study was to determine relationship between plasma renin levels, and development hypertension cardiac hypertrophy in TGR (mREN2)27 hypertensive rats. Systolic blood pressure left ventricular mass index (LVMI) were measured transgenic heterozygote normotensive Sprague Dawley control rats at 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75 days age together with determinations active prorenin, renal adrenal tissue renin, which assayed pH 6.5, 7.4, 8.5. systolic LVMI significantly increased compared by 55 65 age, respectively. Plasma rats, physiological pH, higher from increasing parallel remaining than controls all groups tested. Assays both various pHs showed a profile angiotensin I generation that matched mouse more closely rat renin. ratio (Ang I) 8.5 6.5 0.5 for normal but 3 5 plasma. prorenin exhibited consistent major portion being However, low level kidney observed (8.5/6.5) identical (0.5), suggesting residual within predominantly origin. These data indicate levels high show interpretation status this strain is critically dependent on assay conditions used. Under used it found TGR(mRen2)27 model hypertension.
