Broadband SHG based on TIR-QPM in a multi-tapered slab – a comparative study with two isotropic semiconductor materials

摘要: Abstract In this paper, we have done a comparative analysis on the performance of broadband second harmonic generation (SHG) using concept Total-Internal-Reflection-Quasi-Phase-Matching in near-infrared (NIR) region when isotropic multi-tapered semiconductor slab is made Zinc Telluride (ZnTe) and Cadmium (CdTe) semiconductors. MATLAB simulation has been carried out to obtain conversion efficiency 3db bandwidth incident with fundamental laser radiation phenomenon total internal reflection (TIR) takes place within 10 mm length. We also considered absorption losses, losses Goos-Hanchen (GH) shift process. The effects variation temperature, tapering angles which studied for radiations both CdTe ZnTe crystals. Optimizing these parameters, can design wider frequency converter acceptable peak efficiency.
