摘要: Abstract Japanese Rabbits (Oyctolagus cuniculus) were exposed to α-hexachlorocyclohexane (α-HCH) either orally or dermally and concentrations of α-HCH its two enantiomers measured at different time intervals in the blood, intestine, liver, kidney, fat, brain, muscle. The trends quantified using toxicokinetic models. It was found that absorption elimination blood first-order processes which can be characterized by a single compartmental kinetic model. more than one order magnitude faster α-HCH. transport from other tissues two-compartment accumulation rates among depending on flow rate fat content. Significant correlation revealed between concentration content for various before 1 d after exposure. However, there no such 10 min immediately enantiomeric fraction (EF) rabbit nearly racemic exposure increased 0.73 0.82 oral dermal exposure, respectively. result modeling suggested strong enantioenrichment (+)-α-HCH primarily because (−)-α-HCH times higher (+)-α-HCH. EFs also dramatically brain reached as high 0.99 due enantioselective across barrier.
