摘要: Abstract Objective To evaluate the relationship between best spectacle-corrected visual acuity (BSCVA) and two quantitative indices of anterior corneal surface obtained by videokeratography. Design Prospective, single center, comparative, observational study. Participants Eighty-nine normal eyes 52 with keratoconus contact lens-corrected 20/20 or better. Intervention Videokeratography was performed TMS-2 CAS system 2000. Main outcome measures The BSCVA recorded in log minimal angle resolution (logMAR) units, regularity index (SRI), predicted (PCA) were assessed linear regression analysis. Results BSCVAs for all ranged from 0.82 to −0.30 logMAR units. highly correlated SRI ( r = 0.70, P −0.61, Conclusions Two topographic indices, PCA, are useful estimating effect irregular astigmatism on even though both quantify different aspects cornea.
